Dundee in the dark
Today’s B-Log
Went up to Dundee this morning for some night shots. Unfortunately, my plans for a take-off light trails shot for the departing Dornier came to nothing when the airport decided to hold an emergency exercise.
The siren went off, the Dornier was closed up and the ground unit removed, the fire appliance and Land Rover launched themselves up the runway (returning shortly afterwards) and then the pick up went off on a riverside fence inspection. All great stuff except that I gave up on my night shot because there was no prospect of the flight departing.
It turns out that there was fog at London City and that's the reason as to why the plane could not take off.
