Portrush Airshow 2008

Taken place over the weekend of 6/7th September 2008 the Portrush Airshow is now in it's 7th year. The spectacular West Bay of the bustling family resort is a natural amphitheatre for a free, 2-day programme of air displays, sea displays, ground shows, exhibitions and stalls. Over the two days the show is attended by an estimated 200,000 people.

This years display programme was to include the Vulcan, Black Cats and BBMF but due to problems (contractual and weather) outside of the organisers control these didn't take part.

Over the two beautiful sunny days the crowd was entertained by everything from single seat biplanes to the always crowd pleasing Blades and Red Arrows.

Looking forward to next year already :)
