Runway 25R-07L at EBBR (Brussels) closed for atleast three weeks

One of three runways at Brussels airport closed for maintenance and works. EBBR has three runways, 25L-07R, 02-20 and 25R-07L. In normal operating procedures runway 25R-07L is used for take-off and landings for heavy jets and runway 25L-07R is used for landing all remaining flights. Three days ago runway 25R-07L closed for works. One of the works is that they will adjust the taxiways to fit the A380. Now, runway 25L-07R is used for landings and 02-20 is used for take-offs giving spotters a nice opportunity since this is a very rare procedure at EBBR. A nice spot is the "sandberg" where you can take pictures of both departing and arriving aircraft with this procedure, this is the spot where the two runways in use cross eachother.

Thanks for the insight on the current Brussel's update ... I will keep you informed if I can make a weekend over there .....

Maintenance time I see. In Warsaw we had 11-29 closed and now 15-33 is undergoing some works.
