Tough times ahead for Manchester
Falling passenger figures and a big decline in cargo operations are making the future look quiet bleak for Ringway.Apparently FedEx confirmed today that they will cease operations from MAN on Thursday 28th of August with no indications of a possible return in the near future.
All of the cargo withdrawals are being blamed on the high cost of fuel at the moment, especially in the UK which is forcing them to concentrate on mainland Europe for the time being.FedEx are now added to the list of withdrawals which contains Jett8 and Great Wall Airlines.

I believe Great Wall have re-commenced operations to Manchester after their relief flights
following the earthquake in China.
