Nice catch. I saw it take off from the inside of HBIXR. Whats the story on the two stored
747s at Findel btw?

Thank you very much! I didn’t have time, so I couldn’t stay in order to take it when
it took off.
When I went back, they all took off.
The next time you’ll be in
Luxembourg maybe we could have a drink together?

For sure :0) Hoping to make it back there later this summer. Will let you know, could be
fun to meet up with you and some of the other LUX spotters.

Yes, it was Doha to Booker in 3 days - route was Doha, Esfahan (Iran), Trabzon (Turkey),
Constanta (Roumania), Linz (Austria), Calais, Booker.
A good, fairly standard long
range ferry flight, but I'm certainly had I had my Farsi speaker with me for the Iranian

Or even glad I had my Farsi speaker!

I have been trying for years to identify this most beautiful of aircraft . On a regular
flight plan it elegantly followed a course eastwards towards London in
evening. I was so thrilled to see it take off from the City Airport today
as I was
leaving B&Q that I had to identify it once and for all, which I easily did from your
airplane - pictures web. I had thought that with twin propellors it must be a military
aircraft but I was wrong. Thank you so much for educating me. Its description - De
Havilland Canada - DHC -8-4000 series Dash - has a musical briskness and compelling
stacatto to to it. JC BT5 6HJ

I'm pretty sure this is PR001, because of the Presidential Seal. It's like, the Air
Force One Callsign

This angle is rather descriptive, great shot.
2Matlas (14 June 2009 - 22:24 CET)
Thanks Oldrich, I appreciate your compliment . :)
Anyway. It's a great work which was
done by guys from Flying circus. Until I see it, I didn't imagine, such plane will ever
take the wing in our country.

Congratulations to a very nice action shot!!
