Hi all!

I have booked a trip to Heathrow the 31st of October till the 2nd of November.

Since I love the view of a 787 Dreamliner, can anyone provide me with details of which airlines are operating 787s at LHR during weekends?

Many thanks in advance!

Regards,

Hi Daan,

I got Air India and China Southern on a saturday in february. I've lost British Airways for a matter of minutes , as it passed over me while i was leaving tube station.

I'm talking about a time frame from 11:00am to 15:00pm (when they change runways). You may get another 787 from other companies outside this time frame.

Regards,

Bertoli

I see in your profile that your home airport is AMS.

There are some companies or aircraft types that flies to Heathrow and won't fly to Amsterdam , i.e. Boeing 777-300ER from TAM or BA , A380 from BA, and so on.

Here are a sample of my spottin session that day: https://www.flickr.com/photos/rbertoli/sets/72157641388482704/

All photos were taken from worldwide famous Myrtle Ave. spotting point. :)

Cheers!

I've been lately at LHR between Thursday and Sunday and have seen lots of British Airways, Air India, China Southern, Aeromexico, United and Royal Brunei. Royal Jordanian has arrived the day after we left. Check www.flightstats.com day or two before your trip to see what kind of aircrafts are scheduled during your stay and enjoy :)
