Spotting at Boston-Logan

Hi everyone! KBOS is a difficult airport to spot at if you don't have a fantastic camera or ramp clearance - it's on the water, and relatively far away from land. Can anyone recommend a good location? Here's my setup:

Nikon D60

Nikkor 55-300mm AF-S f/4.5-5.6G ED VR

Alec,

You can do some very good spotting from Constitution Beach, as well as various beaches and public parks in Winthrop. Check out the Facebook group "Aviation Photograph Boston" or the Meetup group "Boston Airliner Spotters" to connect with members. You can also get skyshots from Castle Island. What makes Boston most challenging is the weather and the constant switching of active runways.
