I had several pictures refused because of dust spots inm the sky The last one is http://www.airplane-pictures.net/images/rejected-images/2014-12/500029.jpg. Reaction of first screener was: Multiple dust spots in the sky. Too much dead space above the plane.

My answer for appealing : All dust spots were removed in Ligtroom ( Spot removal Q) , visualize. Where are they?

Composition ( too much dead space) whas chooosed taht eyes of bottom girl are in right centre of the picture.

I think that this picture of Grumman is in terms of quality better than some in databese published yet and dont see reason why should be refused.

APPEAL VERDICT: there are some dust spot in sky you need to fix, the idea of 16:9 crop would work better

I have asked screeners several times how they will come to the decision that dust spots are there.No willing to help.. ( besides Angelo B. )

I know only one method in Lightroom 5.6 in Develop, Spot removal ( Q) and i am checking Visualize Spots in the bottom. Above mentioned picture went trough this procedure but somebody sees that ia mot able to see.. Whats your opinion guys?

Do you think that such pictures should be refused?

Thanks for helping me :-),

Unfortunately dust spots are still visible.

I don't use Lightroom, in PS Image->Adjustments->Equalize

Piotr, thanks for reply . I see them now using PS Image->Adjustments->Equalize but how to remove them ? Could you be more descriptive?

Mitchel, thanks for reaction. As you could see from my first comment, LR 5 spot removal tool, visualize its not relailable tool. As piotr said PS is better..
