Does anyone use this lens and is it worth buying? It only cost like $200 used. I am planning to sell my Canon 400mm f/5.6 and buy this one instead. Any sample images would be awesome! Thank you!

I use it, sharpness is OK at 300mm, autofocus does slow down when reaching 300mm. The VR works very good.

But why would you sell the 400 and get this lens? The 400 will be sharper and probably also faster than the Tamron.

This one is taken with a Nikon D7100 and the Tamron SP 70-300 Di VC USD.

That lens is definitely worth the price. Sharpness is good enough at 300mm,f/8 and more better at f/11. At wide-open, a little bit soft, but $200 is good deal.

This photo is taken with that lens and cropped at more than x2.0
