Old scan photos

As you may have noticed we have established a new category for Old scanned photos. There are hundreds of old treasures in the database - for example Kai Tak photos by Andy Hunt, RAF duty pics by sunshine band, nice variety of airlines from Prague by Petr Popelář, Bob Logan's interesting photos taken at Glasgow - Prestwick or Burmarrad's shots from 90s taken at LHR. These and many more jewels are now listed on a separate Old aviation scans page.

Although we tried to move all scanned photos to this category there are probably many more still to be moved. If you come across such photo please notify us using the photo correction tool.

The old photos may not be of the best artistic or technical quality, but they have a very high value and bring back memories of many spotters. If you have an old archive why not share it. We are looking forward to publish more of archive photos on AP.

It's great to see this section has now made it live with AP brilliant work..

A very welcome standalone sub-section to the A-P database, it extends and encourages the documenting of aviation from yesteryear.
