Having trouble

Hey everyone I am having trouble uploading my first photo. It says that the longer side has to be between 1024 and 1600 pixels. I have tried looking it up at what it means and I can't find anything. What does it mean by "longer side" and "between 1024 and 1600" pixels? It's probably a stupid question, but I really want to upload my first photo. If you have any editing tips that will give my photo a better chance at being accepted then I am open for tips.

Thank you!

In your photo the longer side is the top and bottom of the photo. All it means is that during resizing you choose a size between 1024 and 1600 pixels.

Good luck with uploading, your photo looks a touch soft. Look at some videos on Youtube which deal with editing.

Looking at the attached photo the longer size is the Horizontal, while the vertical is the shortest...

Hope this helps

When resizing your picture in Photoshop go to: Image > Image Size (or "Crtl + Alt + I"). Then change the width to a dimension between 1024 and 1600 pixels keeping in mind that bigger sizes are more susceptible to show eventually existing flaws.
