	why did the 747 touch and go at hamburg before continuing to frankfurt?

Possibly for something as simple as a photo opportunity ?

Much the same happens in Malta when military aircraft on delivery flights stop over. They frequently do a flyby and break off for the benefit of the local spotters.

	It's because the special connection between Lufthansa and Hamburg (Lufthansa Technik)...LH sends their B747s, A340s and A330s to Hamburg for maintenance.

	I guess it was just to show their newest jumbo, a short of showoff perhaps. Probably there where a lot of spotters.....
