Hi Jamie, what photo editing software do you use? |

Jamie, are you sure that's why the photo was rejected? The reason that I ask is that I looked back at your Screening history and distorted was not mentioned in the screening communication.
As a beginner both Michael and I would recommend that you should use 1024 pixels wide, you can get away with a lot more mistakes at 1024 than you can at 1600 pixels.
Have a look at this on the old Forum http://forums.airplane-pictures.net/index.php?/topic/508-resize-images-in-elements/ and maybe even this http://forums.airplane-pictures.net/index.php?/topic/635-preparing-your-images-for-uploading-to-ap-part-1/
There is plenty of help in the old Forum is you know where to look!

For a beginner who wants to eventually use the full version of Photoshop then Photoshop Elements will do the job quite nicely. GIMP is a free photo editor program that is every bit as good as the full version of Photoshop.
There are lots of tutorials out there for Elements and a few for GIMP.
(Me I'm using Photoshop CS3, which P picked up for a song somewhere, it does the job that I want to do.) |
