Thank you for your comment, qalimar. I wasn't sure if you would be impressed as it is only half as good as your Hind shots. I notice the Czech airforce are sending two Mi-24V to RIAT this year and are set to display so I hope to capture more of these intimidating helicopters in action.

I use a 300mm f2.8 VR Nikkor on a D2X. I may have cropped fairly aggressively and 400mm might have been a better choice at that location.
