After a decent day, weather wise, this was taken at 17-23 just before heading back for the shelter of our vehicle. I think it illustrates just what everybody at Fairford has had to deal with this year and that was after over 12 hours steady to heavy rainfall on the Wednesday.

Arhh the rain. I was staying in Fairford and I would say the moderate rain of Wednesday lasted for around 18 hours. Thursday was much brighter but torrential rain ended the day, it was so heavy that my waterproof camera bag let in water! This photo will characterize RIAT 2008, along with the airshow cancelled signs!

Sorry to disappoint you Stu, but I had a helper who was holding my brolly while I took this shot. But yes did eventually get wet and that was after getting burnt by the sun earlier in day.
