Overview of RAE (QinetiQ) West Freugh in south west Scotland, despite the 'Runway Closed' X's it was in fact used as recently as 20th May 2009 by Ramstein based USAF C-130's on excercise. Bottom right on the fire dump are the remains of RAF Argosy 'XN817' and F-4M Phantom FGR2 'XT852/M'.
