The back end of the new Quik R with its Rotax 912ULS engine, which develops 100HP giving a maximum cruise speed of just over 100 mph. The wing is radically different having no king-post and no top sail rigging. The QuikR wing has state of the art strutted topless design, with automatically rigged internal sprogs. Sail has a laminated leading edge and a Kevlar reinforced trailing edge. Note the spatter screen under the engine to keep mud off the oil cooler and engine radiator
