This is a photo taken of my Grandfather S. Rolfe Gregory and my Grandmother Ann C. Connolly when they both worked for Luscombe in Trenton, before they even started dating. He was an engineer (later became Chief Engineer) and she was an office worker recently out of Ryder College. The story behind it as I heard it was that the company had retained prof. models for the shoot but they were tall and made the airplane look small. They then went and got my grandparents (who I suppose looked real nice in the office there) and asked them to do the photo shoot which was then put out to the magazines. Thus they were a world famous couple even before their first date. This picture was given to my Grandparents by Don Luscombe before he left the company.
