I can't imagine the atmosphere their was in here when the plane glided for more than 20 mn to the azores...Still impressed by this performance...

Anthony, a few points of interests about this particular (lucky) plane. August 2000 my wife and I flew on this bird to England. Between 2001 and 2005 I re-fuelled this bird 38 times, each time I did, I thought, gesh, this plane at one point (could) have been at the bottom of the North Atlantic! Also, I know the exact details as to why that all happened, I talked to the flight engineers about the whole thing, they had much to tell.
