This exact aircraft made an unpowered landing on July 23, 1983 at Gimli, Manitoba, after running out of fuel at about 40,000 feet.
Arriving flight AC123 from Toronto makes a smooth touchdown on the slick concrete of runway 30. The 319 to the right is departing flight AC176.
