The Great Orchestra of Christmas (Wielka Orskiestra Świątecznej Pomocy) played 16th time already. This event is really powerful, it makes all people in Poland the one big family on the 2nd sunday of the year from 16 years. Every city centre become colorful and full of people. All artists, musicians and actors organize their performences to encourage people to come to the city centre and leave some money for Great Orchestra of Christmas Help. Most of the hospitals equipment which save many lives every day come from this charity project. Jurek Owsiak and his volunteers has collected and spent over $65 mln for saving lives. More: www.en.wosp.org.pl Jurek Owsiak was traveling by this plane yesterday during the 16th final day, so he could be in every big city of Poland to coordinate everything.
