I have had an interest in photography and aviation since the early 1960s. After marriage and children priorities changed in the interim years until I retired from work in 2000. Just in time for the digital world and have enjoyed it again standing in the cold wind shooting aircraft at AKL and AMZ my two closest airports. Now that I have moved even closer to AMZ I am able to monitor progress on many warbird restoration projects as they are completed and take there first flights. A great hobby / job that has many rewards and able to meet many like minded enthusiasts from around the world.
