My first flight was as a school boy aged 14. The aircraft was a Sunderland Mk 3 flying boat ZK-AMK operated by National Airways Corporation (NAC) and a routine engine change to # 1 engine had just been carried out and a test flight was required...I was the only non crew member on board :) Now many years later and retired my interest in aviation has never wavered and I like nothing more than a spotting sortie to the nearest airport
