Born in 1983 in Holland, I have been interested in aviation and photography since years and decided from early on I wanted to become a pilot. At the age of 14 I started flying and at my 21st I had my first job as a First Officer on the Fokker 50 Turboprop. For a few years I flew for various companies and airlines in Europe, Africa, Asia and Afghanistan. About 2 years later I was hired by a Dutch company on the 737 Next Generation where I have flown almost 5 years and logged thousands of flying hours all over Europe and Northern Africa. Currently flying with a leading cargo-airline the 747-400 and 747-8 Freighter in a global operation to all the exotic corners of the world. My other passion is photography, and because of my job and passion for aviation I have become specialised in aviation photography, though caputuring landscapes and cultures in the frame of my camera is becoming another specialisation of mine. Presently I am a member of AirTeamImages, the largest and leading aviation stockphoto library, and all my aviation images are published/distributed through AirTeamImages. This website only shows a small collection of the available images; if you are searching for a particular shot, if you have any specific request for a photo or perhaps want to hire me for a shoot anywhere in the world, please contact me through the form on the Contact page and I will get back to you as soon as possible. Please note that my images are not available for personal use without watermark (wallpapers, facebook use etc). Requests for personal prints and commercial/editorial use are considered.
