Delegations of 42 states, also of NATO and EU arrived today to Prague to give last farewell and pay respects to Vaclav Havel, former Czech president, admirable and honest man, a well known icon of the "Velvet Revolution" and the freedom movement which took place 22 years ago, resulting in a fall of communism in Europe.
Many visitors arrived to Prague, among which were the current and former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Madeleine Albright, former US president Bill Clinton, French president Nicolas Sarkozy, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom David Cameron, Slovak president Ivan Gašparovič and prime minister Iveta Radičová, German president Christian Wulff, Poland's Lech Walesa, Romanian president Traian Basescu with his predecessor Emil Constantinescu and many others.
