Spanair halted its operations at 2AM on Saturday the 28th of January after unsuccessful talks with Qatar Airways over the capital injection. It means the airline will not get the 150 million € which it was expecting from Qatar for a 49% share.
Also the regional government made clear that the airline could expect no further government-backed loans.
