PZL-130 Orlik TC-II made an emergency landing at the military base at Radom, Poland today. The crew completed a training flight and while on approach they detected a problem with the main landing gear. They could not retract the landing gear even in the emergency mode.
After the pilots burned excess fuel they stopped the engine and performed an emergency landing on the grass strip. The aircraft was damaged, but the crew suffered no injuries.
