Antonov An-30 of Russian Air Force, tail number 04, crashed at Caslav Air Force Base today at 11:50 CET. The aircraft overran the runway on landilng and burst into flames.
23 people were on board and luckily no fatalities are reported. However, two people were transported by air ambulance with major injuries. Another 9 passengers were hospitalised with minor injuries. Ouf of the 23 people on board, 14 were Russians and 9 were Czechs.
The aircraft performed a reconnaissance and photogrammetry fight for the Open Skies program.
