The Scottish flying community was dealt a blow on the 30th December 2007 when a Midlem based Zenair, flown by David Trueman crashed four miles from Selkirk.
The David and his Zenair was a regular participant in Popular Flying Association and other aircraft events the length and breadth of Scotland.
