Delta begins daily services to Tel Aviv.

As of March the 10th 2008, Delta begins a daily schedule between New York's JFK and Tel Aviv's Ben Gurion International Airport. DL86 departing JFK AT 21-10 and arriving in Tel Aviv 13-55 the next day. The return flight, DL87, departs at 00-20 and arrives back in New York at 07-00. Service is operated by the 767-300ER. Shimon Mentel captures N1607B on approach to Ben Gurion, operating on the third day of service.

I think this photo is awesome! Who would ever believe that an airline which started out as a crop dusting company in Illinois would now have worldwide service to Israel? Delta is a remarkable company to say the least. Thank you, Mr.Shimon Mentel. Abel
