Oasis Hong Kong Airlines began as a long-haul low-cost airline based in Hong Kong, Its inaugural route to London Gatwick Airport commenced service on October 26, 2006 and Vancouver on June 28, 2007. The airline was voted "World’s Leading New Airline" at Annual World Travel Award 2007.
Oasis Hong Kong financial wasn’t that good due to the low fare charged and escalating oil prices. Oasis Hong Kong has announced that it will cease operations on April 9th 2008 and that it will end all services immediately.
