21 March the RNZAF had their annual open day and air show. Whenuapai alternates with Ohakea each year and this year was one of the most well attended of recent years. A USAF Boeing C-17 came all the way from Alaska to take part in both static and flying displays. 2 RAAF F-18 were also on display one for static and the other was the finale flying display for the day.
