British Airways first Airbus A318
British Airways new A318 aircraft was seen practicing the 5.5 degree approach at RAF Lyneham. The aircraft is shortly to enter service at London City Airport.
Airbus A318 G-EUNA is the first of two uniquely configured aircraft which will be used to operate its new Business Class-only long-haul six day a week service between London City Airport and New York's JFK Airport.
The aircraft is specially modified A318 with steep approach capability. It is configured to carry 32 passengers on Club World seats, which can convert to fully flat beds.
