Spirit Airlines has cancelled a number of flights due to a threat of industrial action by it's pilots. The strike that was due to commence on Saturday, 12th June but action has been suspended as negotiations continued through the midnight deadline. It's interesting to note that in the USA unlike other countries that airline workers are restricted under the Railway Labor Act that is in place to keep the transport system working and that the President has the power to end a strike.
