Airshows
UK - England
The weekend of 19th and 20th June 2010 was the timing for another of Englands traditional airshows, the venue this time Kemble in the Cotswolds. Traditionally known as Kemble Airshow its now being rebranded as Cotswold Airshow. The weekend has had two very different days which were totally down to the weather, Saturday being a very overcast day and Sunday being a scorcher.
The conditions failed to keep the crowds away, they were entertained by a substantial and well balanced flying program, which started with some large models flying.
The flying program included Modern Jets in the form of the Eurofighter, Red Arrows Hawks and a flyby from a RAF Tristar, then onto classic jets with the Hunter, Vampire, Strikemasters, Jet Provosts and Venoms and then also WW2 veterans such as Hurricanes, Spitfires, Dakota, Seafire and Nord 1002, not to forget the RN Display Team the Black Cats in the pair of Lynx helicopters. Also in the program was flying Stuntman and team O'Brien Flying Circus.
AP members Trevor Reoch, Peter Reoch and David James Clelford were at the show and are attaching photos.
