Manchester International has recently seen it`s fair share of rare visitors, A-P member Charles022 managed to photograph two of these recent visitors.
Arriving into Manchester airport on its first visit at midnight on 13/08/2010 was EC-LHL Air Pulmantur 747-400 from Rhodes as TCX648L. The aircraft subsequently departed at 5pm(14/08/2010) as TCX657K to Sharm El Sheikh after an 8 hour delay. It was originally due to depart at 0930. The aircraft was operating for Thomas Cook.
Also a Qantas B747-400(ER) was chartered by a religious group to fly to Sydney. The aircraft arrived as QF6022 from LHR and departed as QF2 to Sydney via Bangkok...
