G-CPET "'Stokesay Castle' finally bowed out of full service today flying a round trip from Heathrow to Heathrow. BAW9216C and call sign BA757 took from R27R 30 mins late for the 90 min flight with BA employees onboard who were able to bid for their seats in a staff auction with all proceeds going to charity.
She is planned to be parked over in the BA Engineering base in full view of the A30, for about a year in full retro livery, before being stripped of titles and handed over to Fed Ex for freighter conversion in late 2011/early 2012. She will be parked next to Concorde G-BOAB, also recently moved to put her more in public view than when she was parked in the Concorde engine run bay."
Good luck PET enjoy your stay at Fed Ex.
