Edinburgh and Glasgow Airports have been closed for most of the morning on Sunday 28th of November.
A few early arrivals of Continental and KLM landed in Edinburgh in the morning, but once the snowing became heavier flights were diverted to Prestwick and Newcastle Airports. Edinburgh has been opened temporarily, but was shut shortly afterwards so the runway could be cleared. Edinburgh Airport opened at 17:00.
Similar situation is reported in Glasgow. Airport has reopened for several flights, but was then closed until 14:30.
Inverness and Aberdeen airports are also reported as closed at 12:30.
