Libyan training aircraft Soko G-2A-E Galeb was shot on the ground with an air-to-ground missile by a French Rafale fighter as it was landing at Misurata base.
The Soko G-2A Galeb (Bosnian, Serbian and Croatian for Sea Gull) is a two-seat, single engine, advanced trainer, counter-insurgency, ground-attack and reconnaissance aircraft developed in Yugoslavia.
Wikipedia reports that Libyan Air Force operates 116 aircraft of G-2A-E version. Four aircraft of the same type were captured from the Libyan Air Force at Misurata Airport on 24th February and now are in hands of Free Libyan Air Force.
