Easter week end marked the tenth anniversary of Classic Fighters at Omaka. This aviation show has become a World aviation spectacular not to be missed. A good crowd supported the event with locals and many overseas visitors enjoying the offering this year despite the not so favourable weather. Kermit Weeks in the Albatros D.Va along with John Lamont in the recently restored Curtiss P-40C Tomahawk by Avspecs and owned by Rod Lewis of USA made for star attraction material at the show. Frank Parker in the Fw 190 was also on display for most of the show after a tech problem occurred on practice day during test flying which precluded any further flying. All in all a fantastic show not to be missed, roll on 2013.
