On the 2nd of August 2008 in Biała Podlaska was organised Air Picnic. The reason for it was the 50th anniversary of creating 61lpszb (training-combat regiment) which was operating in Biala Podlaska on the currently closed airfield. At the picnic we could see Mi-2 Hoplite and PZL SW-4 parked at a football pitch in the city. The air part consisted of passes made by F-16's from Krzesiny. Unfortunately the weather made it impossible for Biało-Czerwone Iskry (White and Red Sparks Aerobatic Team) to participate. At the end of picnic both helicopters took off and headed their home base in Dęblin.
