This rare French-built airliner was one of only 8 of the type to be built in the 1960s. It suffered a wheels-up landing at Sumburgh in March 1981 and remained at the airport for the next 26 years. The aircraft was rescued from the scrapman when Sumburgh's runway was being extended, and now lives in a private garden in the north of Shetland.

I was lucky enough to see this aircraft in the 1970 s at Liverpool airport the only one I ever saw it is a shame to see it in this state but at least it still survives.
