‘Batman 2’ pulls up hard out of the Bwlch Oerddrws to follow the lead aircraft north towards Lake Bala. 'Batman' is a 9 Sqn call-sign, although the two aircraft were from 31 Sqn. Both are based at RAF Marham in Norfolk. The AN/AAQ-28(V) Litening infra-red target designator pod can be seen under the forward fuselage.
