Hey there, my name is Felix Rommelaere and I'm 16 years old. Due to my parents , who work as flightcrews (pilot and flight attendant) for a well known german airline , aviation has always been linked to my life. I often sat in the cockpit and I was really fascinated , so my biggest dream was to become a pilot myself one day. When I was only 3 years old my father learned me to fly model airplanes and I still do it - it's great fun! Futhermore I started gliding at the age of 13. I have already done my first soloflight and I spend almost every weekend at our local airstrip , Grefrath. My next goal is to fly international competitions! Through facebook , I found Marius Palmen and Dominik Günther. They were already photogprahing airplanes at that time , so I also got interested in spotting too. In autumn 2011 I met Marius personally for the first time and since then, we often visited DUS together. For this trips I used the old Canon EOS 400D of my father , but it wasn't that bad and I learned the basics of photography with it. I realised that photographing airplanes is a great hobby too, so I bought my own Canon EOS 550D at the end of the year 2011. All in all , I'm really addicted to flying and aviation , but I'm really proud of it!
