Thank you for deciding to upload your aviation images to Airplane-Pictures.net. We really value your contribution.

All photographs uploaded to this website are copyrighted to the individual photographers. A-P.net will not use or market images in any way other than to display them on the website.

Editors and founder members at this website can upload unlimited numbers of images. As a new member your uploads will be limited as we would like have a look at a few of your pictures first to see that they are consistently to the high standard we require. See below for further details.

Basic guidelines

While there are few restrictions to what you can upload, we will only accept quality images. With this in mind here are a few guidelines to what we require:

Only submit your best images.
Interesting shots (in terms of aesthetic quality, rare planes, newsworthy shots) are easier to get accepted.
Make sure they are sharp and correctly exposed.
They must be less than 500kb in size.
The longest side MUST be 1024 pxl and the other sides can be between 683 and 1024 pxl
Square crops (1024pxl x 1024pxl) are also acceptable.
You have to be logged-in (if you are not registered sign up now).

Think different!

While we welcome all your contributions, we'd like to encourage you to add images to the site that are not the standard "plane in blue sky" type of images. Of course we will accept rare (for us) aircraft or news items of this type but there are other places on the web to upload these to. Screening

Once you have uploaded your first image it will be put in a queue for our editors to look at and if acceptable it will be added as soon as possible. You will be able to check the progress of your images on your personal “My Photos” page. Any communication from editors will also be placed here. We will NOT e-mail you with screening results so please check this page often.

If you think your image is newsworthy, please tick the appropriate box and leave a comment to the Editor on the upload page. It will then be given priority.
