| Photographer's remark | Swiss Tiger demonstrating it's nose gear extending capability. Have you ever had the impression that F-5 looks different when taking off? Well, it does. The normal nose gear position as seen at the bottom is used for taxiing and landing, but prior to take off the nose gear strut is extended to change the angle of attack as seen on top. The fact is also reported on the radio by simple "Nose gear extended". |
