I was just talking to a fellow spotter about this day, and specifically the light. The whole day was overcast, we had nothing to show for our efforts. Then, right at sunset, the sun finally fell below the cloud layer, but lit everything up from below for just a few minutes in time. We'll always remember the light that day, but just in case I forget, I'm glad to have a few photos to show for it!
