I am an amateur photographer whose main photographic interests are aircraft and landscapes. My most successful photograph to date was a shot I took of the Red Arrows in 2007 which was used by Pentax for their national (UK) print advertising campaign for the K10D. I currently use Pentax and Sigma EX kit, but borrowed a Canon 1D MkIII and a couple of L lenses for Flying Legends and the RIAT this year. I go to airshows to enjoy the aircraft, but I take the pictures for photographic reasons. I also give my ratings based on the quality of the photograph and not just the subject. I live just outside Oxford with my wife and 2 year old son.
