Good day,
i recently saw Travel Service 737 (reg. OK-TVL) and on the tail it has 787-800 title instead of 737-800. I sadly didn´t have camera but there is a photo on another server. Not sure if I can post it here.
Does anybody knows, what that means? Some joke, or TVS´s 787 is going to be build?

Hi,
I think the 3 just appears as 8. Check this photo of the same aircraft:
Travel Service is the only Czech carrier that back in 2007 ordered one 787 and holds purchase rights for one more. This post has been edited by Martin Krupka on 8th January 2012 - 14:40 |

I checked the planes.cz website and it look like it is really 787, because in arrivals is written 09.01.2012 Travel Service (OK-TVL with Boeing 787-800 tit) PUJ,TER/... Boeing 737-800
I have no idea why TVS did that. |

OK, I see. If it was done on purpose then most probably to promote their 787 order.
The first 737 with the 787 titles. :-) This post has been edited by Martin Krupka on 8th January 2012 - 17:48 |
