Hi,

I've been trying to make a good edit out of the two pics below, but I'm having a hard time with finding the right brightness/darkness... A problem is that the highlights (condensation on the top of the planes) clip if I make it a bit brighter.

Thanks in advance!

Hi Caryl,

Have you tried in Lightroom? there is an option in the histogram where you can add the option so that the highlights will turn red and then with that, as a marker you can bring that down until the red disappears,

Technically that would be the right "measure".

You can do the same with the blacks and whites, you click "Alt" the whole pic will turn black, with that you will move the marker to the right or left until you see the first "red" spot for the whites and "blue" for the blacks that should be right balance.

Hope it helps.

Sebastian
